UNICEF ECARO – Communications Insight on the war in Ukraine

UNICEF ECARO asked Research for Purpose to analyse the social media environment throughout the war in Ukraine. This is to better understand emerging narratives and stories related to children and UNICEF (child protection and reputation, misinformation management).

UNICEF ECARO and globally were able to adjust wording in press releases (e.g. conflict vs.. war), create more engaging stories according to audience-driven insights, and respond to timely interests, questions and worries of UNICEF’s digital and media audiences.
