Max is a digital strategist with over 13 years of experience delivering social impact campaigns for global organizations, including UNESCO, WHO, UNICEF, UNEP, and NATO. He brings expertise in digital strategy, social media marketing, analytics, and influencer marketing, as well as informing decision-making through research, insights, and evaluations. His work addresses critical issues such as misinformation, climate change and sustainability, mental health, education, human rights, free speech, violence against journalists, and the role of sports in driving social change.
Max’s contribution to Burson-Marsteller’s Twiplomacy study deepened his expertise and passion for digital diplomacy and strategic communication. At the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, he played a key role in advocacy efforts, capturing stories in Sub-Saharan Africa that influenced social and economic policies at both regional and national levels.
He holds two Master’s degrees in International Communications and International Relations, and has previously worked at the US Embassy in Rome in the Public Affairs and Executive offices. Outside of work, Max enjoys trail running and exploring mountain landscapes.
